NCATA Regional Spring Staff Day

The NCATA Regional Staff Day applies to any Art Teacher and their student teachers working within the St. Lawrence County BOCES region. The North Country Art Teachers Association will provide workshops in collaboration with the St. Lawrence County Arts Council. Keynote Speaker Katie Gabriel, a High School Art teacher from Fayetteville Manlius High School, will lead us in a discussion on vertically aligning curriculum from PK-12th grade. Skill-based workshops will emphasize the four tenets of the new NYS Arts Standards--Create, Connect, Respond, Present--which promote rigorous, higher-order thinking in the classroom.
