About the event
Are you interested in becoming a more effective teacher? Best practices may vary by teachers' style and students' needs, but high leverage practices utilized coherently are impactful for all students. Through seeing techniques in the classroom with video analysis and discussing the attributes of effective teaching, you will gain content and pedagogical knowledge.
What am I learning? Why am I learning it? How do I know I've learned it?
Our Professional Intentions:

* Explore and reflect on high leverage, research evident practices when planning and establishing the learning environment in order to optimize student learning.
* Analyze classroom examples of explicit instruction and collaboration in order to enhance our repertoire of planning, engagement, and assessment during instruction (Danielson) with exemplars and non-examples of student work and revision and cooperative structures and protocols for discussion.
