Through seeing techniques in the classroom with video analysis and discussing the attributes of effective teaching, you will gain content and pedagogical knowledge.

* Explore and reflect on high leverage, research evident practices when planning and establishing the learning environment in order to optimize student learning.

* Analyze classroom examples of explicit instruction and collaboration in order to enhance our repertoire of planning, engagement, and assessment during instruction (Danielson) with exemplars and non-examples of student work and revision and cooperative structures and protocols for discussion.
