About the event
A well-sequenced, explicit phonics scope and sequence gives every student access to the code. In this session, we'll explore what makes phonics instruction systematic and explicit, and how to deliver it with fidelity. Participants will practice teaching sample phonics lessons using a gradual release model. You'll leave with a scope-and-sequence reference and a set of ready-to-teach phonics lessons.
This workshop is being run in partnership with SUNY Potsdam and is CTLE-approved. It is being offered by the SLVTLC free of charge to the participant/district.
