Wanted: A Missing Duck!
A little whimsy, coming to a school near you

We have some troubling news: a duck has gone missing. Actually, several ducks have gone missing, one in each of our participating schools, and we need your help finding them.
This fall, SLVTLC is bringing a little whimsy to the school day with our Missing Duck game. It’s simple, it’s silly, and there’s a gift card waiting for whoever tracks down the duck at their school.
How the game works
Each participating school receives its own duck. The color is a mystery, and every school’s duck is unique, so no two hunts are quite the same.
The duck gets hidden. Your school’s SLVTLC representative tucks the duck away somewhere students don’t go.
The posters go up. “WANTED: Missing Duck” posters appear around the building, each with a QR code that leads to our website.
The hunt begins. Teachers and staff start keeping an eye out in the faculty lounge, the copy room, the supply closet, and every other spot students don’t go. (Checking out the website while they’re at it is encouraged.)
The duck comes home. Whoever finds the duck brings it to their school’s SLVTLC representative and receives a gift card as a reward.
That’s it. No sign-ups, no complicated rules. Just a duck, a hunt, and a prize.
Why a duck?
Honestly, why not? School days are busy, and we know how much our educators carry. A little hunt gives everyone a reason to smile, chat with a colleague, and maybe laugh at the absurdity of a tiny duck on a WANTED poster.
We also hope it sparks some curiosity about SLVTLC. Scan the QR code on the poster or visit stlawrencevalleytlc.com to see what we offer and find your school’s representative.
So keep your eyes peeled. Somewhere in your building, a duck is waiting to be found.
If you have any information on this duck, please visit the SLVTLC website.
